We seem to keep ignoring the role of culture as a primary driver of the issues. Absent a culture change, which implies a large swath of people changing their outlook.

It’s not dollars, it’s the fear of change and the fear of accountability.
This is true. But they’re correct, if Bernie Madoff had been able to keep paying he wouldn’t have been jailed.
Had he any real assets to be traded he’d have gotten a lighter sentence.
Now I am practical and would let them walk.
